Which Plumbing Problems Need Attention Right Away?
When water or sewage shows up where it shouldn’t, it needs immediate attention. Call our emergency plumbers if you notice any of these signs:
- A burst or frozen pipe when temperatures drop below freezing
- Sewage coming up through a tub, shower, or floor drain
- Water leaking from your water heater or pooling around the base
- Your sump pump not running during heavy rain
If you smell gas or hear hissing near a gas line, immediately leave the house and call emergency services. Once everything is clear, contact our team for repair.
Why Does the Same Plumbing Problem Keep Coming Back?
A repeat plumbing problem often means the symptom was fixed, but the root cause wasn’t. Many Apex homeowners run into recurring sewer line issues from infiltrating tree roots or shifting red clay soil. Snaking or plunging can clear the clog, but it may return a few weeks later if the line itself is damaged.
Our plumbers find the real cause using camera inspections and offer long-term solutions to fix your plumbing problems for good. We’ll show you what we find, tell you whether a repair or repiping makes more sense, and won’t push a bigger job than your home actually needs.
Apex Backflow Testing for Residential Irrigation Systems
If your home has an in-ground irrigation system on Town of Apex water, you need a working backflow preventer and a passing test on file with the Town. Apex’s Cross Connection Control Ordinance requires residential irrigation assemblies to be tested every three years. If your backflow preventer needs repair or replacement, it must be retested even if you aren’t due.
Our backflow certification service covers the test and provides a passing result filed with the town to keep you in compliance. We also complete repairs and replace assemblies when failed tests show they can’t be fixed.
Plumbing Needs in a Growing Apex Community
A growing community means new construction and new families across Apex, but it can also bring some plumbing challenges. New neighborhoods filling in toward Green Level and western Apex often have builder-grade water heaters or fixtures that wear out sooner than expected. Many homes are also built without filtration or irrigation, which you may need to add later to finish the project.
Our team handles plumbing service for homes of all ages. If you have aging pipes in your older 1990s home or want to add filtration to a new build, we can help.
What Happens During a Plumbing Appointment?
When you need plumbing services in Apex, a live agent is ready to take your call day or night. We’ll listen to your concerns, determine what service you need, and dispatch the closest available plumber to your home.
Once your plumber arrives, they’ll inspect the problem, explain what’s causing it, and give you an upfront price before beginning any work. With your approval, we’ll make the repair or replacement and clean up the work area. Most appointments wrap up in one visit, and we’ll walk you through everything we did before we leave.
